I realized I never posted anything about our family vacation to Asheville, my someday town. We had a wonderful time and went to a lot of neat places.
This is where we stayed. It was a cute townhouse in a neighborhood we like. It had a mountain view and was quiet and beautiful. I loved watching the fireflies at night.
We went to Grandfather Mountain first after recuperating from the 16 hour drive (with kids mind you). On the way there we stopped at a Christmas tree farm. I loved the smell of pine everywhere. I can't wait to live there and chop down a tree on a snowy day.
Aside from the mile high bridge, Grandfather Mountain had a Nature center we really enjoyed. We saw an eagle, some bears and deer.
This picture is from our hike in Craggy Gardens. I love to hike, it really makes me high on life.
Unfortunately my lens officially broke so I didn't get pictures of tubing, sliding rock and other stuff. Oh well.
